Timber Inventories and Estate Appraisals

    Woodlot owners have inventories and appraisals done for various reasons such as timber harvest estimates, purchasing or selling of properties, land investments, estate settlements, damage appraisals, etc. Each legal size tree is measured and recorded to collect the volume, per species. This is then multiplied by current market value by species to get timber value.
